Our staff are all trained to a high standard for work in the home and community care industry and we employ Carers with a range of suitable qualifications. Eg. Aged Care, Disability Care, Nursing and Child Care.
We have an ongoing relationship with a Registered Training Organisation, to ensure our carers are equipped with the latest training requirements. After-Care also provides workshops and ongoing training opportunities to ensure all their staff have skills that are always up to date and practices reflect current industry patterns.
After-Care adopts an intensive selection process to ensure that only those who are ideally suited to the vision of the business are employed. A key feature of our selection process is thatthe Directors, Shane and Maxine Kelly interview every new Carer personally to ensure they have the personal and professional qualities you require. We also perform thorough reference checks for all new Carers as well as requiring Carers to maintain a current Police Checks. Carers working with children are also required to maintain a current Working With Children check.
After-Care ’s administration team strives to ensure that the carer selected to provide the services in the home are matched ideally to meet your particular needs. This process includes consideration of the individual situation of each client, such as age, gender,specific health concerns, as well as any other cultural requirements.
