Transport

Our carers can provide transport and support for a variety of activities including:

  • Doctor’s Appointments,
  • Collecting and filling prescriptions,
  • To and from Residential Respite,
  • Social Outings,
  • Shopping and banking.

 

For Wheelchair Users, we also have a specialised non-emergency vehicle available as a cost effective alternative to Multi Purpose Taxis.

Known as ‘The Godfather’ this vehicle comes with a trained personal carer/driver who can assist you ‘door to door’. ‘The Godfather’ offers flexible transport for people travelling to medical appointments in Frankston, Monash Medical Centre or Melbourne where the traveller needs help at their destination to find the right department or to carry and collect papers and other documents. It is also great for drop offs and pick ups from the airport where the person needs assistance to collect their baggage or checking in.

After-Care provides personal transport services across the Mornington Peninsula. We pick up and transport people from Arthurs Seat, Balnarring, Balnarring Beach, Baxter, Bittern, Blairgowrie, Boneo, Cape Schanck, Crib Point, Dromana, Fingal, Flinders, Hastings, McCrae, Main Ridge, Merricks, Merricks Beach, Merricks North, Moorooduc, Mornington, Mount Eliza, Mount Martha, Point Nepean, Point Leo, Portsea, Red Hill, Red Hill South, Rosebud, Rosebud West, Rye, Safety Beach, Shoreham, Somers, Somerville, Sorrento, St Andrews Beach, Tootgarook, Tuerong and Tyabb.

Our customised transport services cover all suburbs in the City of Frankston, including Carrum Downs, Frankston, Frankston North, Frankston South, Karingal, Langwarrin South,  Langwarrin, Sandhurst, Seaford, Skye and surrounding suburbs.

After-Care offices are open for business 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
We have learnt that life’s demands however don’t always fit neatly into the working week.

For 24 hours a day, 365 days per year peace of mind, After-Care provides an After Hours Emergency service to coordinate services for life’s unexpected emergencies.
